Who replaced mattress

My 2010 Mountaineer mattress is not very comfortable. Who replaced theirs and with what. Never mind the foam topper answer, I've already added a 3' Serta memory foam topper and it is still a miserable mattress.

Some have replaced theirs with the "Bear Bed". An air bed that we will be buying this winter while in Casa Grande, AZ. Take a look at www.bearbeds.com. We have used the foam topper for the last three years but I think the mattress is getting too worn. I believe richfaa has one....

Replaced ours on the 2011 we just got last Friday never even took the plastic off or sleep on it. The 08 Heartland we had we found out real quick how good (bad) it was and even with a mattress topper it was better but the mattress broke down in no time and the topper kept slipping down on the mattress every morning when we got up.

Ours has a Comfort Air with topper on it. With the added weight of the mattress and the topper, I replaced the gas struts that assist in the lifting of the bed platform. You can get them from McMaster Carr for cheap!

We replaced ours with a Sleep Number Bed. The only problem we have is we sleep better now when we are campng than when we are at home.

I agree with kylec2. This is the second trailer that we have had our queen sleep number bed in and we sleep better while in the trailer than at home. At home I wake up crippled in the morning until I get moving. With the sleep number I feel great and rested in the morning. What's the sense in camping or spending time in your trailer if you are unrested and unconfortable? It is a lot of money but I would never go back. In time we will have a sleep number at home as well

We went out and purchased the exact same mattress we have on our bed in our sticks and bricks. Sleeping in the house is just like sleeping in the Monty.

Select comfort. Mounted the pump under the plywood mattress support and the matress is positioned so that the hoses go into it at the foot of the bed. Also added a 1" foam pad.

We had a queen select comfort air bed in Lance 11'5 camper, traded it for Montana 2010 3615RE 5th wheel, which had a King Bed, switched out at time of purchase, cut the king bed frame down to queen and have lived happily ever after.Dealer was fine with it. We now have Select Comfort King at home, (which could be a queen and we would be happy) and 5th wheel, sleep good every nite. Life is good.

We have a Select Comfort (Sleep Number) queen mattress in our 2005/6 3685FL Montana. Love it! We purchased the mattress PRIOR to our purchase of the Monty with every intention of replacing the trailer mattress when we started full-timing. We gave the "barely used" mattress to someone who didn't have a mattress at all in their rental house and was sleeping on the floor.
