Hazy Skylight - headlamp restore?

The skylight in our '06 3400 is yellowed & hazy. Has anyone tried a headlight restore type product on this problem?
Thx
-Steve

It will help, but like the headlight lenses it's a sign that the plastic is deteriorating and you will just have to re-do it again sooner or later, with less time before each application.

Your better off just painting it white using plastic paint, this will also keep the plastic from diminishing in strength.

Our first Montana lasted about 8-9 yrs. This new one I painted as soon as we got it. I also painted all of the roof vents. I used a good plastic spray paint and all is good. The uv's tear the plastic up so fast.

My tractor lights on my Volvo fleet were yellowing so I wet sanded them and then spayed clear coat which is a uv protectant. The stuff you by at AutoZone will not last

I went to an auto parts store and purchased some taillight paint. It's used to darken the taillight lenses on show cars and etc. I took the inside bubble out and sprayed it and also sprayed the inside of the outer bubble or dome and have had no problems with the fogging at all. It also darkens the bedroom/bathroom considerably so that sunlight doesn't come in and hit you right in the eyes in the morning!
