Bought a used '10 3665 RE and guess what!
We found that everything's fine except the couch air mattress is totally missing! We're not complaining as the price was good, everything works and there's no leaks or damage. We're not too worried about this, but if we ever want to get a new one is this a 'special' RV sized air mattress?

You can get new ones from the manufacturer, but we use a Cabela's model and like it better and frankly we got rid of the couch also. We love our 3665 and am sure you will also. With luck we'll meet you down the road some day.

We love our 3665 also. Sign up for the Mid-Atlantic Rally at Mt. Airy, NC in August and meet some other forum members. You aren't that far away.

We removed the sleeper sofa from our Monty a while back. The air mattress was too cold for sleeping and we did not use the sofa because it was too uncomfortable. We bought a twin bed (no headboard, just mattress, box spring and frame) for that spot and made it into a daybed. It's great for relaxing and serves as a spare bed when needed. Since I had surgery last year, that comfy extra bed came in handy.

The first thing we did was throw out the old couch/air mattress and replace it with a futon. It is very comfortable as a couch and quickly makes into a queen size bed. As a bonus it weighs a bunch less than the stock couch.

Thanks for the replies. Not sure what LOML will want to do, but I like the futon idea. I'm taking it out solo for near the end of this month, and we're going to take our 'business' to the VA Samboree in Urbana May 17-19 ( http://www.abhats.com). Not certain where we'll be going with it until the fall though. Side note - we took our old TT to Michigan for July two years ago to escape the heat - ended up hitting 100 in Port Huron and was in the 90's in Sault Ste. Marie!

When we bought our new to us 36RE the air mattress needed replaced. We bought "simply perfect"air mattress. We love it. We feel best on market for air mattress. We fold it and put in drawer under couch. Lots of the air mattress fold up get pinched and get holes if u fold it up in sofa due to all sharp objects in the sofa. Good luck and welcome!
