First big pull.

Well, we're here! Longmont, CO to south Miami, FL. 2153 miles, one small unexpected delay (thought we'd blown a turbo, but it was just a Charged Air Cooling hose that popped loose) and zero problems with the Montana except the backup camera failed after getting wet inside the transmitter housing.
We towed through Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida hit 45 mph winds and driving rains for 4 days, pulled at about 65-68mph most of the time on open roads.

I'm tired, but happily installed in our RV park where we'll be until mid January.

OK, we were wondering what it'd be like to actually leave the house ebhind and begin our new life in the Monty. Now, after this experience I can sum it up pretty succinctly ... fun

We envy you...can't seem to get ahead enough to cut loose from the stick house for longer than a week trip in our beloved Monty.

Congratulations on a safe trip. Enjoy Florida. That will be probably be our first adventure when we sell our house, which we hope will be within the next few months. Enjoy the warm weather!

Gary and Robin, WELCOME to the sunshine state of Florida. In the next few months you will become aware of why us Snowbirds flock down here. Especially so being from Colorado where the winters can be a bit cold and snowy.

Hopefully you will be able to attend some of the mini-MOC rallys we are trying to put together thru the winter.

Again WELCOME TO FLORIDA!!!!
