Recliners Out - Theater Seating In

Replaced these:

With this:

Found these theater seats in the new Grand Design RV. Special ordered them from a Grand Design dealer (Coach Light RV in Carthage, MO). Photos don't show it, but colors are almost identical. They should be here soon. Made by Laura Ashley for Grand Design. Former Keystone execs have founded Grand Design and they are beautiful RVs.

And these new ones will allow the slides to bypass them?

Jay,
Like the recliners, you still have to separate them, turn them sideways, and strap them down. Yes, they will fit. They are 29" wide and my clearance is 31" on one side and 35" on the other.

I wanted the Flexsteel models, but could not find a dealer that had one it stock so I could sit in it. Being 6'4" there are very few recliners that work for me. I was able to sit in the Grand Designs' seating in their RV at the dealer. It was very comfortable and did not push back when in the reclining position like the new Montana recliners.

Excellent! They look like a very comfortable replacement for the OEM chairs. A great find!!

Very nice look, let us know how they feel in actual use. Now just heat the popcorn and you're ready to go.

I can tell ya how they feel Dick and Captain Joe, I am sitting in my friends right now as I'm typing this I'm 6ft 3 and 230 and they feel GREAT we love them!! and they look good that's why I'm getting them too, they put the Montana Flair ind recliners to shame, My Grand Designs friend is smiling right now BUT that is the one of the few things he has over my Montana though SORRY PAL! the only bad thing about them is you cannot put a glass of wine in the holders we have a table between our recliners

@Jimmy,
Thanks. Waiting for my order to arrive. I was very comfortable when I sat in them at the dealer. Forget the glass of wine and try the bottle. Fits perfect. That is what the DW said. I am a beer man and they will fit fine.

I liked their RVs. They are up and coming and with time, I think they will be a player if they are managed well. My RV dealer (Dandy in Anniston, AL) visited the plant and they were very impressed. They received the first one off the production line. Many, many workers were Amish.
