There will be a shut off valve on the new toilet installation. The Toilet was the highest quality that thetford makes. It was just one of those things that make Rv'ing interesting.

I could be missing something here but isn't the outside water shutoff valve sufficient to turn the water off to the unit instead of installing numerous internal valves that will leak eventually. I believe you will increase your odds of an internal water leak by installing numerous internal valves. Just being old fashion I guess.

With water pouring out of the john inlet and no way to stop it except to turn off the water to the entire RV leaves you with...no water..anywhere.

Our 2007 3400RL came from the factory with one installed. Looks like someone wanted to save a few bucks and cut them out.

Hmmmm gonna have to check and see if my rig has a shutoff, just way too many of y'all have had this problem......don't wanna be next now you got me thinking about it lol lol
