Gatlinburg, TN Dining Out

Looking for suggestions on restaurants in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville area. I would like a nice Steak House recommendation and a nice Seafood recommendation. Well any recommendations including breakfast while were at it!!! Price does not matter since we only go on real vacations once a year. Were also stopping in Nashville for a couple days so if you have any suggestions there that would be good too! Thanks in advance.

It has been a while since we visited Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, but, have to say, I cannot recall getting a bad meal there. They have catfish places, the catfish is to die for.

They have some pancake places, on the strip in Pigeon Forge, oh, my, again, to die for.

My data is out of date, but, to encourage you, you will not leave the area hungry!

In Pigeon Forge try the Alamo steak house and The Apple Barn for breakfest.

Second the Apple Barn, even if you just stop by for an apple dumplin' and ice cream. Good call Gary!!

We use to eat at the Brass Lantern in Gatlingburg. Pricey but the food was great. Haven't been there in several years.

We're partial to Peddler's Steakhouse in Gatlinburg. It's just off the main street area..here's a link. Enjoy. Dennis

In Nashville you can't beat the Stock Yards for steak as well as entertainment. For seafood, the all you can eat seafood at the New Orleans Manor is the best anywhere. Both places are very spendy and well worth it. The line for the pancake house in the middle of downtown Gatlinburg goes around the block so get there early and be prepared for a long wait.

In Pigeon Forge the place to eat is the Old Mill, not sure if that is exact name but it is an old grist mill. It is family style home cookin'. Fried chicken, pot roast, etc. Two people can share a meal, they are huge. Long waits, get there early.
The Apple Barn is owned by the same people and have similar meals, still busy.
We were just there last Oct., wish we were going back. Enjoy! paperheart
