Vacuum head upgrade, revisited

I found an air powered beater nozzle attachment at Wal*Mart,
Turbo Nozzle, part #90698 in hardware-tools section for $22.83.
Many of our members have gone to the vacuum powered beater bar attachment for better dirt removal from carpeting in our trailers.

We got the central system on the Big Sky even though we asked them to leave it out. In the owners manual for the vacuum we found the acc. catalog. They had a vacuum powered head for 69 dollars or so, they also had a electrical powered head for 169. We called and asked about it. It has a rechargeable 7.2 volt battery with charger. The power head and the central system suction actually work better than our Hoover upright. They had it here in three days. Great gadget. Dave and Betsy

Ozz we went to a vacuum shop and picked up an old dirt devel power head for less than 30.00 and it works real good but the only down side is I have to have 110VAC to make it work on the hose and you have a power cord to haul around.

I like the "maters" better. That nozzle looks like work to me. Just kidding! We will check that out. We looked at one at Lowe's, but it didn't have the beater bar.

Thanks

Thanks for the research Ozz, it is on the list for this weekend. I am glad we waited now.

Ozz, where did you find the nozzle? We've checked the Walmart here and Portland with no luck. We may get to Rockport today to look.

The one I saw was in Lake Havasu City, but I have seen them in my travels elsewhere.

Jim, that's identical to the one we paid $50 for at a local (KC) store.

Steve, I got mine at MarBeck, but they are so horrible about finding items, they have been little help for others I sent there.
The store up North on Barry road ordered it in for me.

Just bought another kind at Walmart that is in the regular sweeper aisle. It is labeled as a pet turbo nozzle, 6" width with an upholstery type attachment also. Couldn't fin the one Ozz bought, but this looks comparable. Found it next to the sweeper bags and the belts. Price was around $28.00. Haven't tried it yet, though.
