Smile Schematics and Construction Layouts

Does anyone know if Keystone will release schematics of the framing of the Montana ? I am trying to locate the studs in the dining slide of our 2012 3150 RL, and the studs in the rear-most wall sections just aft of the living room slide. The traditional thumping, stud-finder, and tiny drill bit methods have not worked for me. I am looking to anchor some straps with self-tapping screws, but need to locate the aluminum studs first. Any suggestions or diagrams or schematics most appreciated !

Pretty sure you won't get a schematic. I found mine with a stud finder not sure why yours won't find it. I think mine is a $10 craftsman. Another method shared years ago on this forum is to wait for a heavy dew. From the outside you can see the outline of the studs. Good luck.

You need a stud finder that will show aluminum studs. Also, make sure there isn't electrical that might be running nearby. They tend to run it next to the studs.
