JT'S Stabilizer owners

Are the elephant feet worth the additional $130.00.I'm getting ready to order the system and wondering if the feet are worth the money,It seems excessive when the whole stabilizer package is $300.00.

I didn't get the feet for ours. Being in construction, I get a lot of scrap wood I can use. You will definitely like the JT Stabilizers, they really make a difference.

Gary, I didn't get the feet either but may in the future. Right now I am just using 1 2X under each leg. The install guys said the JT's work best with the legs extended as much as possible so I only use one 2X. I would like to hear from someone using the feet also. Thanks for bringing this up.

We do not have the elephant feet. When we had a motorhome we purchased a set of heavy duty (I believe the name is DICO) for under the leveling jacks. We have been using these and they work very well and cost less. They also come in 3 sizes.

After i ordered the stabilizers I waited a couple weeks and then ordered the elephant feet. I love them, they have the elephant shoes on them and I no longer need to haul 2X stock around other than for kindling. I still keep two 4X6s in the truck in case I have to do some jacking on the truck or 5er. Just as a solid base for the hydraulic jacks... Dave and Betsy

I actually am in the process of installing my JT Stabilizers. I both bought the elephant feet and the regular stabilizer kit. I put the feet on actually first, and haven't really noticed much change if any (nor did I expect one). I actually think the elephant feet and shoes are probably more of a convenience item (i.e. no wood blocks, etc.) more than anything that would help stabilize.

My $.02

Congrats on the JT Stablizers. I have them and love them. I didn't get the elephant feet as I already had some 2x6 blocks made and use them. I didn't think the cost would justify at this time. There are to many other toys I need to get off my list first.....

Itook the "cheap" way out. I bought a couple of cheap dense plastic cutting boards and then cut them down a little bit. Then attached them to existing feet on the front and back legs. Works great

We did not get the elephant feet yet either. Didn't think they were necessary since there's lots of things to use as an alternative, as posted here already. JT's work great though! HMMM, do like the cutting board idea!
