Disneyland RV sites?

The family is talking of going to Disneyland next year for Christmas. We are wondering if you have gone and where you stayed?

Any experiences will greatly appreciated!

I walked through some parks by Disney last week, lots of empty spaces.
I don`t think you will have a problem.

Yes, if you are going at Christmas time, and you are planning on staying at Ft Wilderness, make your reservations now. MOST years FW is a zoo! But we love it!

We have stayed at the Anaheim RV Village thee times. Once as an overnight stay and twice to visit Disneyland. The sites are paved and level and there are plenty of pull thru's with room for slide outs. Check out their web page for rates and site map. We liked the shuttle service operated by an independent shuttle service that had very resonable daily per person rates. We visited Disneyland last year at Christmas time and the park is very beautiful. We went the day after Christmas and found the park very crowded, so much so the park quit selling tickets for several hours. They were filled to capacity, not for one day, but two days in a row. I just saw a news report this evening that the same happened today. So if you are planning a trip...you might want to consider not going the week between Christmas day and New Years day. The reason it so crowded is the Rose Bowl and Rose Parade marching band members from across the nation are in the area.

We stayed in Ft. Wilderness some years ago, between Christmas and New Years. It was packed but very accomodating. Very convenient transport to park. Nice place to stay. Probably much better when school is in session. Larry

Just realized the OP was talking about Disney LAND, not Disney World!! As to Hook's comment about FW when school is out, we were there during the week in October, and the place was STILL full of Munchkins!

We were in Disneyland last year. Sorry, we didn't have Monty along. I did not see an RV park. Much more confined area than Disneyworld. I'm sure others will be along to help. Larry
