shower facility

the shower facility on my 2006 model 3400RL is starting to pull away from the wall. Does anyone know how it is fastened? Also how is teh glass enclosure attached to the shower wall?

Well we have the 06 3400..As far as I can tell the encloser it atached by those little button type button plastic things.I can flex mine in and out around those attachments. The glass part is just screwed into the wall. If you mean you can push on the shower encloser wall and it feels as if it is not attached to anything..on mine that is normal....and I hope on all the other ones???

My wall flexes also, The CW is that this allows moisture to escape from the rear thus reducing mold.

I had to repair my shower enclosure because it was pulling away from the wall. It was fastened to the wall with double sided tape. I used silicone adhesive to re-attach the shower enclosure and added more screws to the aluminum extrusion that holds the glass enclosure in place. I then caulked everything with silicone caulk. It's been holding up well.

About the only thing I do not like about my Montana is the shower enclosure. Mine also flexes and seems awfully light weight. But so far no problems.

Every time my big body gets in the shower I cringe when the floor around the drain give. I try to avoid that area. I'm not so sure the installation design for the shower on the 3400 RL is a good one.
