Explorer RV, Insurance

Thanks for the tip about Explorer RV Insurance, Orville. I called for a quote and they were much lower than Progressive. My question now is what kind of experience have you or anyone else had with them handling claims?
Thanks

dcpark,
I've had one claim when I scraped the side of the rig against a pole causing $3400 damage. Called them, they agave me the Claims Department who gave me a claim number and assigned a Claims Adjuster. Told me to take it to a repair place of my choice and have them call the Claims Adjuster. I took it to D&T RV Repair in Goshen, IN and in one day the rig was fixed and we were on our way. We had the disappearing deductible and our deductible had fallen from $570 to $277 which is all we paid. Of course, now the deductible went back up to it's original level and has been reduced by one year of accident-free travel.

Hope this helps you a little.

Orv

I have Explorer also. Had one claim with great service. Would recommend the company.

I Started a claim with Explorer today. A chunk of road junk put a hole in my grey water holding tank last week, the one from the shower. Dealer tried to run it through my seven year extended warranty until they found out it was a road hazard. Should hear something by Wednesday if Explorer will pay for the fix.

I have no experience with a claim, but got a great price from these people.

My grey tank is now on order. The total cost to repair is $1,200. In my opinion Explorer did a good job.
