Montana 3400RL heater out
Woke up this morning and the heater lights (green & red) were on steady. Need to access the control board and found the heater mounted in the verticle position. this places the control board on the top of the heater next to the outside wall. I have two options: pull the heater all the way out to gain access to the board, or cut a hole in the outside wall of the trailer for access. Has anyone had a simular experience?

When we used our heater the green and the red are both on steady. Only when we ran out of propane did the air not blow hot. But other then that I am not sure what you are saying either.

Well now you got me wondering, I have run my furnace for two years now and I do not have any green or red lights. Just kick the option to heat on the wall and set me temp and forget about it. Mine is located under the island countertop and I know they have relocated the unit to the stairs area. Guess my coach is just getting older and outdated. =)

I don't know anything about the lights..... but when my furnace quit working I took it back in for service and they pulled the entire unit out. We can access it from the inside but seems to me they may have pulled it out from the outside. If not then they simply pulled it out of its resting place from the inside. Either way it was a bit of work. But you should NOT have to cut a hole in the side of your rig to get to things on the furnace.

No firsthand experience but I've heard that a weak battery can keep the control board from operating properly. If you're connected to shore power that shouldn't be a problem, however, unless voltage is really low.
Ours doesn't have the lights, either, so maybe this is on the newer systems.
