Mil FAMCAMP - Seal Beach NWS, Calif

Just got here yesterday. If you have the misfortune to HAVE to be in the LA area of S. Calif for some personal or family reason, and can use military FAMCAMPS, this is should be your place of choice.

Seabreeze RV "Resort" (Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station). Modern facilities, only 2 years old, clean and new, free laundry room. The facility is right next to Long Beach and Huntington Beach, and Seal Beach itself is one of our favorite little beach towns in the S. Calif area.

$23.00 night for mil active/retirees, no weekly or monthly rates available. That is one heck of a deal for S. Calif!! Other DOD also eligible...$26.00 night for those folks, and $1.50/day extra for 50 amp service for anyone who needs that. No need for air conditioning, so 30 amps is plenty for most folks. Wi-Fi is fairly pricey, and not especially good service. No cable TV.

Check with the office for eligibility details and reservations. 562-626-7106.

Safe Travels!!

Sounds great there. Myself I go alittle further up the coast to Pt. Mugu, It is nice having your own personal beach area and looking down the coast at the campers crammed in at Sycamore Canyon. Being just north of Malibu and just south of Venture it has alot of variety.

Lots of family and friends are in the Long Beach area, so that is why we use this particular location. I would like to try Pt. Magu sometime, but we usually go East out of here, not North.

Best Regards,
