Vandenberg AFB
Nice place. BIG military base. FAMCAMP has ~ 20 nice and shaded long pull-throughs and another 20 or so spaces on a big, open paved "parking lot" situation.

Free wi-fi coming by end of March. BX etc about 1/2 mile away. Check with the FAMCAMP for entry directions..not "as published".

Some bigger than expected hills on the last part of US 101 and CA 1 coming south from the Bay area.

Worthwhile for a few days/week(s).
