Not New, but the Same Desperate Refrain!!

Keystone:

Look at several of the threads, here, about electrical & plumbing issues. Time and time again, we owners are having urgent and/or serious problems that CANNOT WAIT to be towed to and appointed to Service Departments. Everyone knows that, and most RVers, and certainly most fulltimers, knows there will be times we have to fix things "right now" and by ourselves. There is nothing more difficult, and urgent, than a problem in the plumbing or wiring... when you have NO DIAGRAMS or SCHEMATICS.

Give us diagrams or blueprints of our units! See, for instance, my recent thread in the "Montana Problems" section, entitled "Another Electrical Problem, Need for Schematic", for both an example of the type of problems we all face, on occasion, and the obvious CHEAP & EASY SOLUTION. And don't overlook the passion with which folks chime in, in agreement.

All you need do is make a (reduced) copy of your own blueprints or assembly schematics, and put them in our so-called "Owners Manual". So far, that manual/packet borders on useless because it is simple, general, not at all model specific or relevent, and with NO HELP on these more vital "Survival Issues" (which they really are when you are far from home and help).
