Skipping Slide out

I have a 2018 High Country with a slide out skipping in and out. It is a Bal accu slide system. It has always stuck on the initial inward movement, but now does it all the way in and out.

Welcome to the MOC. You have cable slide that in bast case needs adjustment, worst case has a damaged component. This from the Bal website.

If you're not mechanically inclined you might want to call a mobile mechanic.

Maybe look at the bottom of the slide. If the dacor (black tarp material) is frayed, it can bind up and cause the slide not to move smoothly.

Have a look at Chucks Darco repair. This is one of the best repairs I've seen.

I put strips on the bottom, rollers on it & adjusted the cables every way. Still does it but not quite as bad.
Only way I can get it to stop is spray the hell out of it with teflon lube.

Sound like your gear box has some teeth missing. they are easy to replace if your mechanically inclined. you can order the gear box by itself.

Skipping slide out

Wanted to thank all for the help and suggestions. I found found the problem with one of the inside cables. I was concentrating on the outer cables did not pay attention to anything else. Ordered the part it will be here today.
