Has anyone looked at the new 3810MS and the 3811MS??? I do not get having a Giant Window and Couch in the Bedroom, I Get the fireplace(ROMANTIC)

but unless you are an Exhibitionist and don't mind the world seeing you and your wife Buck Naked and Scaring everybody in the campground (or creeping out)

why would ya want that??,I know you can pull the shade down but still ......Thoughts?? maybe a place for the Grand kids when you are downstairs??

Bedroom window wise, it is really no different than the 3710/3711FL and the 3730/3731FL. The "Window lounge with storage underneath" is interesting. But I would have to see that to make a judgement on how functional it would be. Doesn't appear to be much in the way of drawers for clothes storage unless there are drawers under the "lounge". Would prefer to have a typical dresser with drawers I think.

Fireplace in the bedroom??? I could do without that.

Yeah I get that but I think Montana is taking this whole giant window thing in front to a whole new level But hey I will give them credit for always coming up with something different and Knowing Montana they will give it 2 years MAX to sell or Dump it

I wish they would have used a little of that upstairs space to make the hallway wider so you could walk past the bathroom door when it's open.

I kinda like the setup actually. Our bedroom is very dark with very small/limited windows and tinted windows. Really like how bright the room looks and how open it seems. If the rear was set as the 3791 is, I'd be a buyer.

yeah i guess some folks would like more light in the bedroom but for us we do not spend alot of time in there except at night,my wife was saying she would rather have another closet for more clothes(SHOCKER)

than a couch

I'm also not crazy about the window in the front but otherwise like the floorplan.

I went into this unit at the Hershey camper show. It's interesting. The only reason I can think of for the couch/window is maybe for a place to lounge/read while the hubby is watching football? The one thing I loved about the floor plan was the dressing area between the bedroom & bathroom and how it stepped down into the bathroom. I'm sure it's becoming a chore to come up with new design ideas for these units.

I firmly believe none of the designers at any company listen to owners or campers about what they really want and like. They all just come up with something 'different' and see if it sells.

Our Camper World had the front kitchen with the big window and we absolutely loved it but not the price that went with it. We picked up the FL large window and it really opens up this space which we expected was going to be important to us when we finally get to full time in 2019. I am sure there are going to be trades offs with heat and cooling but privacy was not an issue as you can stand in front of it with all the lights on and you can not see in. We have the big bedroom widow as well and it does not have the same level of tint that the front has. We use our bedroom as a second sitting area as we have an articulating bed and anticipate that having the separation could be handy in keeping our sanity. We have spent a couple of weekends in the unit and so far we are loving it.

Interesting layout but similar reactions to y'all.....Have to see it up close....
Concerned about closet space, etc.

I still have concerns that a missile will get launched at that nose window and then have a hurricane created inside the rig as we are driving....

We do not care for the large front window in any floor plan. IMO it is was copying the competition for sales and will not be around long. Keystone at the rally said there have been very few warranty claims on window failure but with the way the front end flex's I think there will be a lot more..

Whether you like a big window or not is, of course, personal opinion. But as far as concern about the window being shattered by a rock or other object, I think that is rather remote. In well over a million miles of driving on our vehicles, we have never had a broken windshield due to something hitting it. Or my kids. Or our parents. Or any one else I can ever remember mentioning one. Rock dings, yes. Broken, no. It does happen. But I would venture the percentage of broken windshields vs number of vehicles is very very small. And being that high up should reduce the possibility even more. Don't know what material they are using, but I would guess (hope???) that it is something shatter resistant.

I would hope that means safety glass. We also have never seen a rock ding that high plenty of bug hits. Looking at bug guts while having dinner is not my idea of a good time.

We did have a TT with a front window but it had a cover that came down while in travel and it took a lot of bug hits.

Like the plan in theory, but I could do without the front window. Like all single pane glass it will conduct heat and cold quickly making the bedroom temperature harder to control. I can see an aftermarket "bra" to cover it during transit. The lounge area could be more useful as a desk or home office/crafting area. But that's what we would do so I don't think Keystone will change it anytime soon. Don't need the firplace in the bedroom either. Gimme a dresser in it's place. The shower & bathroom, being down one step gives a vauable extra 8 inches of headroom while showering.... I like that... a lot.

A other problem for us as we see it is in the middle of the night on the way to the potty just past the walk thru closet there is a step down to the toilet room level.
I can see myself half awake missing that step and doing a header into the shower, but that may just be me???
