Hot Springs, Arkansas

Update for Catherine’s Landing at Hot Sprngs, Arkansas:

Staying this week at Catherine’s Landing. This is a private upper end RV park. If your going to stay in the Hot Springs area this is the place to be. I would not recommend any other park in the area particularly if your already spending quite a bit traveling from another state!

Management staff is extremely professional and accommodating.

Full hookups including cable. This is a very modern park that is extremely well managed! The park is laid out to accomdate the largest rigs at any of their over 200 sites. All site are very easy to back into have 50amp and full hookups. All pads are level concrete and all drive paths are paved! Each site has both fire ring and grill with every feature thoughtfully placed! The grounds are well landscaped and manacured.

The bathrooms are cleaner than anything I have ever seen. There are multiple laundry rooms and even a pet bathing area. Good sized fenced pet play area.

If your hosting a large group there is a massive pavilion that could easily accommodate 200 or more. It is setup with large grills, sinks and massive buffet line counter.

Park is on Lake Catherine with its own private boat launch and dock. There are pontoon boats and kayaks for rent as well. There is also golf carts and bikes for rent.

Additionally there is a nice disc golf course with deer walking around (plenty of birds, waterfowl and squirrels too). A salt water swimming pool, splash pad and playground for kids and a zip line park too boot! Several well maintained walking paths (some paved) are located thru out the park). There is talk of them adding a second pool and a hot tub. It should be noted this is a fairly new park and they are currently under construction of a large second section.

To top it all off this park is located just a very short distance from all the major Hot Springs attractions! It is on the same road as Garvin Gardens (a must see in Hot Springs) and since it is on the North side of Lake Catherine it is only a couple miles from the downtown bathhouse tourist district, Oaklawn Race Track and the South of town newer shopping areas.

It should also be noted that construction to widen/4lane Hwy 70 off of I 30 near Little Rock to Hot Springs will soon be completed. This park happens to have very good access compared to most others in the area. Particularly any of the parks on the south side of the lake.

Five star highly recommend!!!
