Fingerprints/smudges on the faux stainless

We have a 2015 residential 4 door refrigerator with the faux stainless steel panels on the front of the doors. The fingerprints and smudges will NOT come off!!! HELP please before I lose my mind... well, what little I have left from a 3 month vacation with a hubby and 4 little furkids that want to use the rig as Talledega Motor Speedway...lol

I really would appreciate any and all help on this. I pride myself on keeping a beautiful 'house' but just cannot find any cleaning solution to this.

Thanks, Sherry M

I have never used the product in the following link, but have used several other products on the fridge we had in our house before going fulltime. There are quite a few products in the markets and big box stores for cleaning stainless steel appliances. Just don't use anything abrasive, as most have a clear protective finish on them. http://tidymom.net/2013/how-to-clean...el-appliances/

Try Pledge. I have good luck at home with it. Spray onto a cloth then wipe the frig. Use another cloth to dry. I use a soft lintfree cloth.

Since we're back in the dark ages yet, we don't have any stainless steel appliances in either of the S & B's or the Monte but you might try some Awesome that you can purchase at the big name stores and also at Dollar General. It seems to work on everything else but use a micro fiber cloth and spray it on the rag first and not directly on the frig.

We use a little bit of baby oil on a rag to wipe ours down, takes the fingerprints right off, and looks great.

I use Weiman Stainless Steel wipes and they seem to work well. I get them at my local Walmart and they are in a round plastic container. You pull them out one at a time like baby wipes. I also think they put a coating on the frog that helps future prints come off easier.

At home I use Lemon Oil on practically everything, shower/tubs, all faucets, countertops, stainless sinks and it works amazing. Just make sure you are using it on a dry surface. It repels water, soap scum so cleaning in between using this is a breeze. It’s also amazing on shower doors. We’ve only used our camper twice and I’ve not had time to use this yet but plan on it the next time we use it.
