State Stickers

We are looking for some suggestions on where to place our decal map of states visited. My first choice is on the side of the slide out . My concern is could it be rubbed off by the rubber seal when the slide is extended/retracted.

We used to put the map on the outside of the fiver next to the door- We also kept trading trailers and wanted new maps- We got smart enough to buy a square of clear plastic and afix our map to that which I then fastened to the inside of the door on the current fiver-Now if we trade again we'll just remove the screws that hold the map and afix to the new unit- Sure has worked for us- JMHO- Don

I did the same thing and move map from coach to coach. Mine is currently mounted on the front storage door.

The clear plastic sheet is a good idea. I applied mine to the main slide out next to the door. Over the past 5 years, it has shown no wear or attempts to peel off when I moved the slide out. If I had to do mine again--I would use Don and Judy's method. Have fun! Get those state stickers and some from Canada.

Same with us. That way we can move camper to camper, and we can place it where it is most visible for the site/campground.

You know a plaque you could put out with your name tag would be good.

That's exactly where we have ours and it's been there for 11 years. The rubber seal doesn't even know it's there.

Our map is on the slide next to the entry door. We start over with each camper. The states on the map are the ones that Montana has spent at least one night in.

A little off subject but not really -
Where does one get a good quality decal map? We are also looking for a great idea for a name plaque.

ours is on the slide next to the door, We will be getting a new Montana and I wondered why we have those State stickers. we know where we have been and don't need the map to tell us where we have been. Will not have one on the new rig.

Rich, we have found the map to be an excellent ice breaker- Have some friends with whom we camp when possible because of a conversation about our map- JMHO- Don
