new floor plans

We went to the Denver RV show. Noticed some new Montana had room for only the one unit washer/dryer. Some had a front closet for the stackables and some had a tiny place in bedroon for the single unit. Also noticed the new 3000 floor plan has a covered hole in the kitchen counter for trash to drop into the can with outside access to empty the can. The 3000 is one of the floor plans that have room for only single unit for washer/dryer. Located at one end of the one main closet.

The following have the single washer/dryer combo in the bedroom.
2955RL 3650RK
2980RL 3500RL
3000RK

The following have the washer/dryer closet at the door
3400RL 3670RL
3475RL 3295RK

I was able to see the new 3000RK at the show tonight, did not get to see the 3600RE as they do not have one in stock. I did see a similar unit in the Mountaineer 344RET. The show closed at 8pm tonight so I was not able to spend much time there, going back tomorrow afternoon to get a better look around. New exterior colors but no new front nose cap or mirrors.

That 300re should be an interesting layout. The spec show it as the heaviest unit with the lowest pin weight. No floor plan on the web page yet.

Garin1, is that the 3000RK or the 3600RE? The 2006 brochure I'm looking at doesn't show the 3000RK being either the heaviest unit or the lightest pinweight. So maybe the 3600RE? That one is not in this brochure. I'd be interested in the numbers if you have them, including UVW, Carrying Capacity, Hitchweight, Exterior length, etc.

Thanks.

Thanks, Dave. Looks like the 3600RE has the lightest pinweight and heaviest UVW but not the heaviest GVWR. The Carrying Capacity is rather slim. I wonder why? Anybody know how they figure these things? Logically it would be GVWR less actual weight but how do they set GVWR? In other words, why does the 3295RK, which is not the longest nor heaviest UVW have the heaviest GVWR?

Steve,
I was pretty bummed by the light cc of the new 3600RE. I have been really looking forward to that new floor plan coming out. I have noticed the new kingpin is up to 19,000 lbs, makes me wonder if maybe Keystone is going to 7,000 lbs axles or better in the upcoming months???

We have this model and didn't realize that this feature was new. Can't imagine life without it. It's great inside, there's never anything spilled on the floor if the bag happens to tear while changing it out and it doesn't feel like it takes up any cupboard space. We also just keep our trash bags in the compartment along with other little things we use outside. The only thing that could be improved would be if it matched the countertop instead of being just white.
