Turn around?

After we left a campground a while back we realized we had left our small gas grill on the picnic table, being we were about 150 miles away at the time there was no way I was going to turn around.. I got to wondering just what someone would have to leave behind to go back for? Other then the dw or the dog....Jack

Maybe you will get lucky and someone will leave something for you. It seems over the long haul things kinda become even.

Sue, based on some of the kids I teach, if their parents were campers, they might just keep on driving if, down the road, they realized they left them!

Our parents took us kids to Arkansas to pick strawberries for our own use. After we had picked all we needed and started back. My parents counted kids and found one missing. We went back and got the one they left in the strawberry patch!
This is a little off subject.

At the price of Diesel now I don't think there would be much we'd go back for.

Couple of years ago, we had parked the 3280 at a KOA near Buena Vista for a week, to save us the trouble of hauling it the two hours each way.

On our way back the following week, one hour into the trip, I realized BOTH sets of trailer keys were at home!!

At the cost of fuel now, taht would have been an expensive mistake!

Now, there is ALWAYS at least one set ALWAYS in the truck!!

Not much to post when you ask about such trivial things as would you go back for a gas grill. Get a life

Skyguy, we have always enjoyed staying at the Buena Vista KOA. Since that is not the primary topic of thread, I have sent you an email.

As for 'leaving behind', I have left a few small items and one of my nightmares is of leaving something really important (and maybe expensive). On this last trip I left my favorite torpedo level which I use for set up and for satellite dish positioning. Sure hated that, but it was better to pick up a new one at the next WalMart. So far my dreaded 'nightmare' has not come true.

Wife, Dog, favorite cowboy hat or boots. Not much else. (and definitely in that order. Shari would probably put the dog first, but then again, she'd never let that happen)
