PDI Tomorrow Help

We are picking up new Montana 3400RL tomorrow from the dealer and since we are new to 5vers and this forum would like to ask if there is anything particular to look for on this model. I understand that they take you through from stem to stern but it is up to me to look for things not right. I know with all the excitement-glitz and lets get this thing home so we can play with it - might be easy to overlook something.

Yeah, It is really hard to stifle ones emotions for the reasons you stated. Gotta remember this is cold business and it is easier to get it fixed before you close than after. A search will get you several PDI lists. Take your time and don't feel like you are being too hard on that poor dealer. Polite insistance will win the day for you.

Carol, are those stuffed toys that you have on your page for sale????Those are just about the cutest little ones that I have ever seen...When I was in physical therapy, there was this man that would bring his with him right into the session....When I first saw it, I was sitting in the reception area and he came carrying it in on his arm. I asked Paul, "What is that man have on his are, a fur coat"? When he got closer I saw it was a dog...He said he takes her to hospitals and she is a therapy dog. Can you say ADORABLE?

Thanks Kathi,

Real enough that they bark and pee and poo and do all the things a real dog would do! HA HA HA HA

There are a lot of yorkie therapy dogs.

Now, did indy roadrunner find his PDI list?? and, if so, how did it go???

Congrats to them on the new rig!!!

We are about a month away from delivery on our 3400rl..Let us know how the PDI went and here are some extra things to check on.
1. Decals Peeling
2. Loose wire on rear right brake drum causing TBC Errors
3. TV not secured properly( screwed into top of TV)
4. Why no furnace filter ?
5. Why are tires not balanced, Hub concentric Cars, Lug Concentric RV
6. Valve stems, Rubber why not metal
7. Leaks, Bathroom, all faucets, Shower drain,
8. Leaks, black and gray tanks. At Connections
9. Sound system Quest
10. Thermostat , will not maintain temp
11. Axle alignment ?
12. Roof Bubbles
13. Overhead fan noise
14. Water pump noise
15. Slide gasket improperly installed, Leaks
16. Window leaks, improper caulking, improper installation
17. Lug Nut torque. Tire pressure
18. Black and gray valves not properly marked
19. Electrode in Hot water tank (has been found bad upon delivery)
20. All sorts of things loose and wires hanging.( black and gray tank gauges)
21. Hydraulic selector switch operation, stick, hard to operate
22. Tears in awning, check for proper operation.
23. Day night shades not properly installed
24. Black tank does not drain, Why?
25. Gray water sources drain into black tank.
26. Is there any logic as to what drains where
27. Loose connections in electrical panel and frayed wires (fire hazard)
28. Replace shower drain seal by dealer..
29. Sealand toilet is junk, Leaks around seal, Keystone has replaced with tehtford.
30. Check under slides for hard black stuff that is falling apart on new campers.
31. Supports for wiring harness under all slides are usually broken.
32. Brake controller check, check all wiring to the wheels

Some of these are no longer issues or have not been reported for a long time so I assume they are no longer issues. These are things I will look for in addition to our PDI because they are real problems by real owners reported on this forum.
