Jacknife Sofa

In my 2003 2880 I had ordered a hide a bed. When it was installed, it is too big to open up in its' location. Why didn't the salesman tell me this.
I am looking for a jacknife bed for a replacement.
Does anyone know of a good model for a jacknife bed that you can get a good sleep on?
Thank you,

My parents had a jacknife bed and even as a kid it was not comfortable. I feel the same for the hide a bed which I just replaced with twin recliners in a love seat configuration.
I have a good double cushion air mattress that I will use in the future.
Good luck.

X2 John's comments. We had a Jack Knife Sofa Bed in our old TT. Wasn't even good to sit on let alone sleep on. Remember, Salemen are there to sell you things, unfortunately it's up to you to make them work.

I have a 2980 and replaced my jackknife sofq with one that folds out with the air mattress works fine it is offered in other models have to climb over to get to the back but comfort outweighs the the climb over.

We have the 3280 and have the same problem. Can't open the fold out sofa because of the bar in the kitchen. We actually damaged the countertop the day we bought it trying to get it open. If we move the sofa and recliners around, we can open it up but the chairs are real close together in the slide out. Wish we had a jack knife sofa for the grand-babies to sleep on. Using a full size blow-up mattress on the floor for them now.
