Anyone using BF Goodrich Commercial Tires?

I have the Mission china bombs on my Monty and looking at different tires to replace. My first choice was Titan Tires but now they are made in China so that idea is out. Over on RV.Net, there has been some great discussion on BF Goodrich Commercials and some good reports on them on trailers simuliar in size to the Montana. Anyone here using BF Goodrich Commercials and if so, what is your opinion?

Do a SEARCH on tires, then sit back and prepare to read for at least 4 hours. Heard nothing but good things about the B F's.

After having two Mission tires fail within 8 days while traveling last summer, I had the BFG Commercials TA's installed. Couple of short trips and one trip to Quartzsite with them and all is good. Very happy with the tires.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the feedback. I was leaning towards BFG and that is what I'll get this spring. Anybody purchase them at Sam's Club?

I have them on my 2955 RL, with no issues and not much wear over the last 5 years. You will be well served with the BFGs, I'm sure.

Forgot to add, they have two tread designs, an all weather and an aggressive mud/snow tread. Be sure to specify which one you want if you have to order them.

I got my BFG's at Costco. They had to be ordered, but took less than a week.

We got our truck tires from Sam's Club, but they wouldn't install the ones for the Montana, so we went to Tire Warehouse for them.

The BFG's mentioned are an E range tire rated at a max 3042 lbs. at 80 lbs. psi. Judging by your model of Montana, some of you appear to be running the tires at a weight in that would exceed the manufacturers load limit. I'd love to find a 16" tire made in the US that had the required load specs but to date I haven't found any and this included the BFG for the heavier Montana's!

I got my BFG Commercials TA's at Discount Tires. Replace all 5, mounted and balanced, with extended 3 yr warranty for $850.

Love them, they run cooler than the Mission tires I replaced which were 1 year old. Did not have any problem what so ever with the Mission tires, but after reading all the post here about them, I went a head and replaced them.

You need only to look at the Goodyear G614. Made in the USA and a 3750lb load rating at 110psi. You don't have to inflate to the max unless you are running max weight. Load Range G.....

Had BFG's and still have BFG's on my TV since 2003. Last year after nearly 40K miles on these BFG's driving and another 20K miles towing the Monty I began to feel a slight pulsating bump effect from my rear tires (I have a Dually) so I went to Discount Tire and pulled my old 2003 Dicount tire purchase reciept from the glove box. After inspecting all tires the manager found that my left inside rear tire were crowning in the middle meaning the tread was separating from the core. He gaged the tire and replaced that tire with a new one for $20 dollars. I asked that he look at all the others carefully and he found another which appeared to be crowning. To make this story short because the limited amount of thread wear on my BFg's he discounted all the tires and I left with a new set and kept two of the discared BFG's. I have the same size tires on my TV and Monty so I carry the two discards in the bed on the TV in event I have flats in Mexico. Will I buy BFg's, the answer is yes. Will I put them on Monty again, "Yes".

Putting new BFGs on rig on Tues. just prior to heading south for warmer weather. I had the Mission tires on. Did over 12,000 miles with them and felt I wasn't going to test fate any longer

Same here no problem with the Mission Tires (15,000 miles on them), but to many stories about them. Put the BFG on, very happy with them.
