Mine was located in the right hand side back of fridge there is a black cover that has a couple of screws.... unscrew then and you should see the ice maker valve. At least that is where mine is located!

I don't know if that's the reason for the gap..just a guess. They ordered doors built by bulk, and used existing stock in a larger opening. They could have also installed a header to have the door fit better.
It doesn’t concern me much other than curiosity.
I understand the need to meet a price point that won't be met with custom builds.

BTW, does this look a little high to anyone. I mean just a touch. It's about 7 inches. It's in the middle holes on the B&W Companion. I wonder if I should drop it to the bottom holes, 1 inch lower.

Is it level? I think that's the real answer to the question. More is better if your rig is level.

I have mine set on the middle holes of the companion hitch....same truck only an LTZ with a bowtie.
I raised it from a lower setting after the intial hookup had the 5ver a little low in the nose.
I moved it again later after some scale trips.
Forward this time.
I took the whole rig and weighed the axles. The front truck axle was carrying almost no additional weight so I moved it up to add a little. (By turning the support arms around)
If your truck hasn't pulled any weight before, expect it to lower a little after the springs take a "set" from the load.

Spent my first night in the 381!!! Loving it! DW is still in our winter place for a few more days with this mid-April winter storm and all. But now that I'm in here I'm noticing the little things that will require attention that could easily have been avoided if Keystone had engineers with a little more sense.
Case in point. The lack of accessible power outlets in the living room. There's one available outlet for all-things entertainment, and good luck trying to get at it as it's inside where the TV retracts.
And speaking of the TV, the IR eye that makes the remote control work sits beneath the counter so you pretty much have to stand in front of the TV for it to work! Really???

Same on our trailer. I added a power strip for the added blu ray player, fire place comes out easily to get in there. And to plug in the hdmi you will need to get in thru the fireplace.
The tv has a stop ring around the worm drive that stops it. Ours has been moving higher every time we run it down and back up. I was going to adjust it, but don’t need to any more. Eventually it will run all the way up.

The glass front lifts straight up and off. It has hooks behind it. Then there are 4 screws, one in each corner of the fireplace. Care about dropping the screws. I had a heck of a time getting one back out.

And another thing while in the back of the tv, I plugged in audio cables from the tv audio out to the aux audio in of the stereo. The stereo sounds 199 times better than the speakers on the tv. Trust me on this.
But keep in mind the routing of the cables so they dont interfere with the lift drive. And use cable ties.

Apparently, the TV setup has changed in 2018.
Mine doesn't retract.
I have (2) 110v outlets on either side of the TV.
There's a strap to secure the TV for travel. It's on an arm that allows it to move out and swivel..
I also have a large amount of open space above the front generator and battery compartments.

Yes the TV raises up from behind the fire place and that makes for a big open space behind the TV. The only outlet is located behind the TV in the open space so I guess the only way you can use it is to take off the fire place and add a power strip for added outlets.

First off big congrats to outlaw!!!
Second, yep exact same issues for us with not enough plug ins and remote control eye on tv too low!!! I asked dealer to fix that. They said tv is as high as it can go! It is on its bracket but I suspect the lift mechanism probably has some more lift too it. Will check when I pull my fireplace
On a related note, you will find that board on top of tv actually floats there so no swished fingers when you drop tv down. May also allow for additional adjustment of lift??

Um, I think there's a step missing here. The glass doesn't seem to just "lift straight up." I'm pretty sure it's fastened somehow.
