Cape Cod Campground Recomendation?

We are going to Cape Cod next Summer around August. Since that is the high volume season we are going to book a campground now. Can anyone give us suggestions of a campground in that area that would hold our 2955 and our tow vehicle. I have searched a few and some are very limited as length.

We are looking at Cape Cod Campresort which is pretty pricey.

Is it centrally located to the area activities and are there other campgrounds around that are just as nice and perhaps not as costly?

Thanks Bill & Cindy

We were there before all that water park upgrade...watched them digging it up during construction in Fall of 2008. Good location but don't think you can get these sites right in front of water park...

I think that the number of RV parks on the Cape are pretty limited and most of the existing ones are older and therefore not built for larger rigs. We take our 2955 down to Truro on the outer cape every year to the Adventure Bound Campground (Formerly the North Truro Campground) and we love it there. The only problem is that it is an older campground and manuvering around is quie an adventure. Maybe that is why it is called Adventure Bound :-).

On the other end of the Cape (nearer the mainland), Peter's Pond is a nice campground but mainly devoted to seasonals. They are located in Sandwich. If you book early you can probably get one of their transient sites.

Check Bay View Campgroung. I was there in Aug. This is the 3rd time we have been there. Not a problem for your FW. My 307RKD went in the site without a problem. Good location for day trips. Check out Cape Cod Beer, great tour and good beer. Have a good trip !
