After having said that my TIVO box has died and I'm left with only a working DirecTV HR20.

I'm not surprised. I modified the TIVO about 5 years back by adding a second disc drive to increase it's recording capacity and that drive has crashed. The TIVO is a Sony Sat-T60 and is at lease 10 years old.

Easy enough to fix, just don't have the time.
