I retired in Dec 99 Helen retires in Dec 06.Thats what you get for marrying a youngun..We are both Federal Employee's(me ex)so we are not all that old..can retire at 55..helen is 55 in Oct 06 retires in Dec06..then we are ..on the road....Where did the rule that guys marry women younger than them come from...Should be the same age so you can retire together.. Waiting around for her to get old is the pits....

Rich, I only had to wait a few months for Glen and that was the pits. Several years must be hard.

Steve, no one mentioned WiFi or cable TV. I did get on their WiFi without a password but we never tried cable.

Iowafan..There were some positives...I took a part time job driving school bus and charter bus and was able to pay cash money for the truck in our signature with the extra money..will also have @ 2/3 or maybe all of the $ needed for the new 3295 by the time she retires..so it will be worth the wait...sort of...

Waiting is still hard but worth it. We were blessed with paying off some of those major expenses, too, and it sure frees us up to enjoy this lifestyle. Even if we don't go fulltime, it will be most of the time, and not having big payments will really be a blessing for which we are very thankful. I saw a 3295 up close the other day and that's a great choice for fulltiming or pleasure. I was impressed with all the storage. We have a lot of storage in our 2004 3380RL so we're always looking for that in an upgrade.

You must be a patient man, Rich.....driving a school bus. Judy
