Here's the same picture taking just 21k space, half the original.
I just saved the picture (rightclick/save picture) then loaded it into Irfanview. I then told Irfanview to save it at 65% quality. If 65% make the picture look bad (rare) then I'll try again at 70 or 75%.
Irfanview is free at
www.irfanview.com and is one of the best at this kind of thing I've used, and I've used a lot of them.
Here's the same picture at 65% quality and half the physical dimensions (width and height), also done with Irfanview. It takes 7k.
