Lotts Island is open for business

We just drove through Hunter AAF in Savannah and the new Lotts Island Rv park is open for business and business it good. They are full at the moment. They have 16 FHU sites and today all were occupied. This is a military facility so is open to DAVs, active and retired military. I haven't had time to check on prices yet but will do that shortly. I talked to one of the active duty personnel and he told me the limit is 90 days in then 90 days out before you can come back in. So far that is the only info available until I visit the MWR office. Lots of shade among very tall trees... Dave

Thanks for sharing the info on the military campground. We too are military retirees and have just started some extended traveling this Spring. We have stayed on some bases and they have all been a very good experience. Plan on going south this winter and maybe we'll be able to add this to our list of places to go to. It's great that we can hear another MOC's opinion.
