red kool aid stain

How does one get red kool aid out of your carpet? I spilled some red kool aid drink on the kitchen carpet. Looking for any suggestions.
Thanks,
Dick

Have you tried the Awesome cleaner yet? It does take out a lot of stains.

try this for red drink stains on carpet: (test first on a hidden spot)
1. Mix one teaspoon of liquid hand dishwashing detergent and one tablespoon of ammonia with two cups of warm water.
2. Using a clean white cloth, sponge the stain with the detergent/ammonia solution. Blot until the liquid is absorbed.
3. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until the stain disappears or is no longer absorbed into the cloth.
4. If the stain is still there, mix one tablespoon of liquid hand dishwashing detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of warm water.
5. Sponge the stain with the detergent/vinegar solution. Blot until the liquid is absorbed.
6. Sponge the stain with rubbing alcohol. Blot until the liquid is absorbed.
7. Sponge with cold water and blot dry.
best wishes!

On edit: Not laughing at the stain (it is not a laughing matter), laughing at the thought of having to dye the carpet to cover the stain.
BTW: If all else fails, I have had success with undiluted Simple Green on Coffee stains, not sure about red koolaid though.

Try Spot Shot - sold at Walmart, other stores. Takes out just about anything. We had not even moved into new house when puppy chewed up an ink pen and got black ink all over new carpet. Just spray very liberally and blot up with cloth - repeat as many times as necessary. I promise this works even on Kool-Aid!

You could try "spot shot" comes in a blue spray bottle. In the grocery store in the detergent and cleaning supply isle.
