Home on the Road,

I am not trying to hijack this thread, but I have wondered about the heavier pinweight of the 3295RK since I have to contend with it. Since you mentioned it, do you—or anyone else—know the reason for this? Your comment about the axles possibly being located further back makes me think…

Wordsmith, Maybe I can add to this comment if you don't mind. A week ago last Saturday we put our 3295RK on a CAT scale. I have to admit I was shocked. I have previously posted that last weighing our Montana weighed 13,980 with pinweight of 3,120. I also said that since that time we had offloaded a few things and also carry a bit less water (1/3 to 2/3 instead of a full tank) so I figured we'd shed a couple hundred pounds, if not more. I'm going to post in a different thread about this so watch for that one if you don't mind. But I will tell you our pinweight currently is 3,300. Diet time for this Montana!

We have the 3670 mid kitchen. Recently moved the chairs to the side and the sofa bed to the rear. Like the new layout much better.
Bill and Ann,
I had considered moving the chairs to the side and sofa to the rear. On the 2955 the sofa would not have enough room to open and be used as a bed. We take the grandson along often and need the extra bed.
Thanks, Weldon

Steve, your interjections are always welcome!

I know—remind Vicki I know —that our truck can handle the weight, especially since Marsha and I do not carry the weight the two of you do, but this has been the main reason I have harbored concerns about the 3295RK and the F–250.

Please keep us updated.

J.D., when we were weekending/vacationing I put ours on a scale and it was right around 12,500 with full freshwater and our normal food and gear. I don't think you have a thing to worry about. Ours is very heavily loaded and it's time to review what we're carrying and offload those things we really don't need to have with us. Your truck will do a terrific job with your rig, which you already know!
