3400RL Dining table mount?

Been out a couple times in my 3400RL and notice the dining table has a way of tipping going down the road. There are holes in the table feet where it might have been screwed to the floor originally?

Question is how long of a screw can I use to hold the table down. I'd be concerned with driving a screw through the floor and messing up the slide as it goes in / out.

Any idea how thick the floor is?

Thanks,
Bill

The table was originally screwed down from the factory. You will be safe with a screw that is long enough to go through the table leg with with an extra 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch to penetrate the floor.

Just be aware that the carpet 'smooshes' down but still takes up space between the leg and the floor. So getting an exact length is problematic. I was always afraid it was too long and would gouge the inner floor.

Ours came unscrewed, but I added a couple of turnbuckles to the floor and run a strap through the chairs & over the table. Holds everything fine and we can still move the table around if we want.

Thanks all. I think I'll try Walt's idea as it facilitates moving the table when cleaning.
