Rubber roof delamination
I have a 2011 Montana 3750FL. I keep it covered when not using it. I was getting it ready for a trip to Port Aransas, Texas, and removed the cover to inspect the RV. When I looked at the roof, I'm seeing a lot of creases and bubbles in the rubber, as well as some delamination of the piece of plastic under the rubber that makes the transition from the top of the roof to the side. I can press on the delamination and hear it try to stick to the roof, however it comes right back up again. I've keep the roof maintained and the RV is not even 2 years old yet. Has anyone else seen this delamination of the roof/side transition piece and the lifting effect it has on the rubber roof? Thank you, appreciate any help.

Somecreases and small bubbles are not unusual. The peice you refer to as plastic is a formed sheet metalpeice...or it is on my Montana. Seems as if the screws holding the metal or plastic are loose thus the give when you press on it. Check with your dealer for some possible warranty work.

Best to get it inspected, as soon as possible.

Terry- You didn't say when you purchased your Monte. If it has been less than a year, I'd be taking it back to your dealer for Warranty Work and I'd be contacting Keystone Montana Customer Service also about the situation!

I have the exact same issue at the trasition on the curve, both sides, at the front. I had Keystone look at it at the Rally a couple of year ago. They said it is a tape material that the sticky part just won't hold down. They also said it would pose no issue with the roof. So far that has been true and it has been that way since almost new. When we went on the factory tour I looked at that area and it appears to be as they said.
It's a big fix that may not be necessary. I keep an eye on it after every trip. I didn't want to disturb all the things that it would require to fix it so have not pushed it.

Thanks for all the input, especially Chip. Sounds like we have exactly the same thing. Mine is only up at the front of the unit, both sides, and doesn't seem to be impacting the integrity of the roof, but one of those things that when you look at it, you know that something didn't work out from either a design or material standpoint. I'll keep an eye on it, once again, I appreciate everyone's input, and certainly if anyone has any other comments, they are much appreciated.

The tape is a heavy duct tape and is used where the peices of the curved metal are joined. The membrane is not glued to the curved area. The trim which runs the length of the camper has screws which hold the trim, excess membrane and the curved peice to the camper. One might remove the trim and be able to see why the curved peice is loose.
Good luck!
