Air Pumps for Tires

Does anyone carry an air pump for tires? If so what brand do you have that can hit 80 PSI for the 5'er wheels.

Thanks

I carry a 12V compressor called "Truck Air". They are available at several places and I think that even Camping World carries it. I haven't modified my Monty yet, but what I did for our old TT was to install weatherproof 12V cigarette style outlets behind each wheel well so that I could plug in and maintain the tires easily.

We also carry the same 12v compressor. But found it very slow. i also carry a small 110v Cambell compressor that goes to 125 lbs and it is a lot faster. Had to pump up the tires in Florida as they had lost a little air over the winter. Could be the valve stems or the Alumimum wheels. In either case, I check all of them before we make a long trip.

We have several. Black and Decker is the one we use the most especially to get to the 80 psi. We have a couple of small ones for quick checks. The B&D is a rechargeable so we don't need the 12V outlets.
Happy trails.................

If you mean 12v compressors then no we don't. If you mean 110v compressors, I've been pretty happy with the Coleman InflationMate's ability to get our tires to 80 psi. I bought it at Lowe's.

I have had several 12V compressors. Just a cheap one for "emergencies" I have a 23CFM compressor on the work truck so I felt I did not need one for more than an emergency. The last time I had needed the 12V one I pulled it out of the package I bought it in and barely aired up my tire enough to get it repaired before it quit, with smoke coming out of it.
I would recomend getting a better one that will be there when you need it.

I recently bought a Craftsman 120v air compressor with a 1.5 gallon tank and it has been working just fine for topping off the tires. Its a little bit slow but gets to 80 lbs with no trouble. It has a nice output regulator on it as well.
