fresh water tank overflowing
While at the Western Region Rally in Seven Feathers, our fresh tank started overflowing from the vent. I turned off the pedestal faucet and switched to the pump, until I could figure out a fix. I initially thought it was the fill valve in the convenience center, but upon more thought, decided it might be the check valve in the pump, allowing water to go to the tank through the pump. I managed to find a check valve and shark bite adapters at the local hardware store, and installed it ahead of the pump, and that solved the problem. I was also looking at the maze of Pex lines and decided to draw a schematic of the plumbing for future reference. The photo shows the plumbing mess and the other is the drawing. At the three valves in the drawing, the blue line in the valves is the normal flow of water. Also, in the lower left of the photo is the check valve I installed in the feed line to the pump.

Great diagram. Wonder how consistent these trailers are.

I would think they would be the same if they have the same functions.

Thanks for the input Bob! This will go into the file of possible things to happen and repairs to solve the problem. The diagram will come in handy also when that repair is needed.

Funny how I don't mind NOT having that rat's nest of plumbing because of no convenience center. Long time ago, I read someone post that whomever is working on the trailer gets to decide how to run plumbing, wiring, etc., which is why schematic or diagrams are NOT available for our trailers. Good job with that plumbing diagram, but why do I suspect any rig of the same model would probably have a different schematic. In my case, I go to different parts of my rig to decipher plumbing or wiring. That convenience center does not look so convenient... LOL!

As long as everything is working, it's convenient. I'm still a little sore from having to twist around to get that check valve installed.

They are sort of plumbed the same, except when they aren't which happens whenever something goes wrong or they get behind on the line.
