rear bumper and/or rack

I was at the local montana dealership the other day. Comparing features I must say I like the nice substantial rear bumper of the mountaneer. Not to mention the slick way it pulls our into a rack.

I want a rack on the back of a montana. As a matter of fact I'd like a bumper. Pretty is as pretty does.

The salesman says no way to retrofit any kind of rack or bumper or receiver hitch on the rear of a montana. He even said to do so could void the frame warranty.

I say hooey! The best way to carry my kayak is diagonally across the back. And the best way to carry bikes is on a rack in the back.

Anybody install a rack/bumper/receiver hitch on the back of their montana?
