Steve and Marsha -

Congrats on the new Montana. We visited ours yesterday, even though the campground doesn't open until next weekend. Had some maintenance things to take care of and we really just enjoyed spending time there. Since the park was still closed, the owner left the gate open for us and we went down and stretched several hundred feet of cord. Anyway, looking forward to seeing everyone this fall.

Looks like we will probably be able to make it to Pla Mor again this year. Other commitments prevent us attending the Reno Rally.

Sure is getting confusing around here. Just got back from 6 great weeks in Texas. Searched all the topics & still couldn't nail down specifics on this fall's Great Lakes rally.

Maybe we need just one locked 'n loaded topic for specifics (read only)?

The Great Lakes rally will be Sept 8th thru the 13th.
Montana factory tour will be on September 10th.
Will be held at Pla-Mor Campground

Barring any unforeseen problems we still plan on attending the Great Lakes rally. Unfortunately it looks like will have to pass on the Reno rally.

Thanks for the info! We will definately be there. Is there a sign-up list and/or deposit required, or do we work directly thru PLA-MOR?

As for me, as the song goes "See you in September".

We will also be at Pla-Mor this Sept. Rames14 do you have a list of who is planning on attending? Just wondering.

We are trying to make arrangements to be there. By the way, does anyone know offhand if Pla-Mor has WIFI?

At the September rally they had no wi-fi nor even a dialup line. No provision for email or internet at all. That might have changed, though. You can email them at rod-brenda@pla-mor.net and see what's current.

Again, as a gentle reminder to those attending the Rally at PlaMor, their water is VERY VERY VERY high in iron content, you WILL need some kind of a water filter there. Several of the other campgrounds in the area also have this problem.

Just a heads up,

Thanks Carol for the information. We were not able to attend last year and were not aware of the iron problem. We'll be sure and be prepared.

I'd like to add an exclamation to Carol's comments about the iron in the water. It's not just Pla-Mor but also the Elkhart RV Park in Elkhart and I assume most all rv parks in the area. Goshen apparently filters their city water because the fairgraounds CG does not have that problem. Anyhow, our white towels turned brown as did anything else that was white. Vicki also spent a lot of time scrubbing the stains out of the shower and toilet. So a filter is highly recommended.
