Bedroom TV volume to low at 50.

I have my volume turned up to max (50) in our bedroom, and we still can't hear the tv specially when the bedroom air conditioner is on. How do you make it go louder?

If you have the Sansui TV in the settings you have to optimize the sound for the DVMI cable. It might be set for the RF cable instead. I had the same problem.

Is this a new problem? Or has it always been that way? Are you on antenna? Cable? Satellite?
If new, it could be a problem with your signal.

Depending on how you are getting your signal it could also be in your satellite system. I have had some that you could adjust the volume of the receiver as well as the TV. If that's what it is, when the receiver is set low it doesn't matter much what the TV is set for. When I've had that kind, I've adjusted the receiver all the way up and controlled with the TV control.

Have the 12vdc Jensen in our bedroom and it has been the same way since new. Have it on the list to be replaced with a normal television with decent sound, programs faster than a snail, changes channels like it was made this century not in the 1950's, and can be seen without using binoculars. If yours is the same brand, just junk it for a real one. John

Could also be the initial setup and the volume is turned down. Try and find the programing of the unit on the screen and see what the volume bar is set at. Many of the units are set up with the volume set low until the initial set up and then you have to set it where you want it!
