Colorado to North Platte NE
On our way to the national Montana rally in September we will spend our first night near the junction of I-76 & I-80; maybe as far as North Platte. Looking for recommendations for an RV park in this area.
Thanks

PS: since these are just overnight sleep stops, hook ups are not mandatory.

In Sterling, Co. there is a small - maybe 6-10 sites called Sterling RV Sales and Park. I think it had 50 amp and FHU. Pretty flat, but pretty much a a gravel parking lot.
If you only want a stop over place, this works. There don't seem to be many along the Interstate withing 50 miles or more - at least ones with FHU.
EDIT. This is pretty roomy and kind of out in the country. I would rate it 7 or 8 if you exclude view and scenery ratings.

We stayed here overnight in North Platte, NE. Nice park and easy to find.

If your in North Platte, wherever you spend the night find time to visit the railroad switch yard, it is very impressive to watch from the viewing tower

We travel frequently from Colorado east. Our first night is The Sleepy Sunflower in Ogallala, Nebraska. It's a Passport America park so it will run you about $17/night with full hookup pull through. The folks who run it are great. It's about 35 miles from the I76/I80 junction and right off I80.

We have also stayed at the Holiday Park in North Platte. It gets you another 50 miles down the road at about double the price. It's not bad. There is another PA park in North Platte. I can't remember if they had sewer, but no wifi. Sleepy Sunflower in September should have great wifi. Since we've been traveling to Colorado for the past 40+ years, we've hit just about every exit. Now that we live there, we're usually headed the other direction. If you are looking for a good place spaced out the rest of the way, there is a nice CG called Haworth in Bellevue, Nebraska. Then, the Amana RV is also a Passport America park in Amana, Iowa. Since we've travelled this route many times, that's the ones we'll be using on the way to rally.
