Balloon Festival in Alberquerque, Oct

Planning on doing the Balloon festival this year, anyone have an idea on FHU campgrounds. Will be staying a week with sister and BIL???

Don't know about the campgrounds, but we were there one year during the festival. Being on top of the mountains above the city when the balloons come up is just a fabulous sight to behold early in the morning.

We were there this past fall with a group of folks that retired from our company, although we were in a hotel. We did notice there is a campground right at the Balloon Fiesta grounds, on a hill overlooking all the action. Can't think of a better spot, but I also can't think of the name!! Bet it is sold out for decades in advance!

Enchanted Trails and American RV are on top of the hill on the west side of town. There are water and electric sites on the edge of the balloon field but they are very,very pricey and probably sold out.
