water leak
Can anyone give me an idea as to where to find a water leak in the dinnet slide. I have an 05 3400RL. The dinnet back wall has a wter leak. I have pulled the carpet up and pulled the black poly sheet up from the floor. Recaulked the top and bottom seals and end cap. I have had the dealer try to fix it and it still leaks. Leaks if the slide is in or out. Starting to get floor roat.

I'd suggest you re caulk the trim molding that runs horizontally along the outside. It may look good but a small leak there goes directly to the floor carpet and it wicks quickly. I don't know how to get that molding off but it comes with a bead along the top of it. Include the very ends of that trim too.
Please let me know if that helps.

I will look at this this weekend and try caulking the end caps.
Thanks for the information.

try caulking the edge of the slide out roof--may need new tape up there. We had the problem on our Mountaineer.

You need to caulk all along the top of the molding strip too. It may look good but it is not. I just fixed my mystery leak by doing just that. The caulk looked to be in good shape but was not. I was getting a lot of water in the house.
Mine was on the kitchen slide and I fixed fridg vents, stove vent, screws, etc. All good things to check and fix but nothing stopped it till I caulked that strip.
Good luck

Did you check the window. We had an 06, 2955, and it leaked around the window. It only takes a pinhole. After several attempts to seal it, they finally took out the window and did a total reseal and put the window back in. That stopped the leak. Our rug was constantly getting wet. The total window reseal fixed it. Lots of Luck. Have a Great Day
