MASA or Good Sam's Emergency Assistance Plus?

We've been full-timing about 16 mo. now and I've been sending Medical Air Safety Assoc. (MASA) $32.50 a month for emergency medical transport coverage in case one of us becomes ill or disabled. Good Sam Club has been tempting me with offers for their Emergency Assistance Plus coverage for my wife and I for $109 per year.

I'm smart enough to understand Good Sam's plan is a great deal less expensive, but I haven't been able to determine the differences in coverage? What coverages do I lose if I switch to Good Sam's EA+ from MASA?

I'm sure some others have made a decision on this. Would you share some points that you based your decision on?

Skymed and MASA are similar programs but do differ a bit.. Check them both out.... Remember..you get what you pay for. We have skymed...

Like Rich, we have Skymed. Does Good Sam's program provide emergency air evac?

We had a MOC member here in Florida who had a Heart Attack a couple of weeks ago and had to be Medi vac'ed from hospital to hospital. Sky med would have paid for that 100%. Check your insurance to see how much they may pay for that. Most of us are a bit long in the tooth and need to think about these things no matter how unpleasent they may be.
