Went to the RV Show

A "Giant RV Show" has been advertised in the L.A. area at the Pomona Fairgrounds starting last Friday through the coming week. Since I can't resist looking, and we since bought our new 2980RL last December, Shari felt it was safe for us to go just to look. Turns out that it's a giant RV show because the dealer (only one) that is putting it on is Giant RV, with several locations in Southern California.

Well, we looked at all the 5th wheels and most of the TTs and a lot of Class As and Class Cs. I'm thrilled to say that even the more expensive 5ers such as Carriage Compass, Cedar Creek, and Royallite that were there couldn't hold a candle to our 2980RL IMHO. We walked out of there saying to each other that there wasn't anything there that we'd rather have than our current rig. The interior decorating on all the 5ers was atrocious (again, IMHO). Fit & finish on many of the rigs costing $10-$20K more than our Montana was no better, and in many cases, worse.

It was well worth the drive from San Pedro to Pomona (1 hour) to find out yet one more time, we sure made the right choice in buying our Montana. They may not be perfect, but they sure beat the rest.

I second that motion. We just got back and said the same thing to each other. When we told the salesmen that we had a Keystone product, they didn't want to talk anymore. I think we knew why. Nothing they had out there could even hold a candle to the Keystone products. So guys remember the post where the lady was walking by the couple that was just sitting outside their Monty and she said that they were showing off? Well now I know why!!! That Montana stands out among the rest in more ways then 10 or 20. They are truely one of the best on the market. Our hats off to the Keystone crew who builds this beautiful rig......

Bill and Shari,
The big RV show at the Ponoma Fairgrounds is always in Sept or Oct. There will be lots of dealers and vendors. Plus Good Same and Trailer Life writers. It is worth it even if you already have your rig.

We never get tired of looking, and always come away with that same satisfied feeling. Haven't yet seen anything we'd rather have than the Montana.
