Lighting the heater

Purchased 331 rl in the spring and with the weather cooling off I thought it would be a good time to make sure the heater works. We previously owned SOB and the heater was in a lower cabinet, however, I can't find it in any cabinet in this model-I know things have changed and improved since the previous unit. Nothing included in the owners kit concerning lighting the heater. It may be a stupid question but can someone point me in the right direction?

Are you talking about the furnace? I always light a burner on the stove before using any gas appliance to bleed the air out of the propane lines. Set the mode on the main thermostat to furnace. Set the temperature higher then the interior temp of the 5'er. Should start right up.

Thanks for your reply. So there's not a pilot for the furnace?

No, the furnace should light by just turning it on as long as no air pockets need purging.
