It is 1/2" PEX. I had one, along with the clamps. I got them at Amazon or Lowe's. Keep in mind you need a special tool and camps for PEX (and they are not cheap). You best bet would be a SharkBite 90 degree, see link.

I also did this conversion to a Dometic 320 last year and it was VERY easy. I also added a shut-off valve behind it.

So John, what about connecting the PEX to the toilet itself? Anything special there?

What I meant was, does the standard fitting on the toilet fit a 1/2" pex or something else. I don't have pex crimping tools. When I put in my shutoff valve, I just cut the pex and used a Sharkbite valve so no tool needed.

Sharkbit is fine if you, don't have the pex tool.

When I installed my 320 I discovered Ace hardware rents the crimp and cutting tool for a dollar a day.

Ditto on the 320 and the shutoff. I bought the pex tool as all the fittings on my HC are PEX (like ever Monty). Plus I changed the plastic sink to a ceramic sink which needed the PEX fittings.

Buy the clamp tool on Amazon and you will have it when you need it. Interestingly, we upgraded plumping in our house and it is all PEX so it has been a good investment. My FiL has even borrowed it.

I love the SharkBite stuff, but really expensive!
