Diesel prices in Q???

Anybody have any quotes for diesel fuel down there? or do we need to fill up here in Vegas for 2.15 a gallon?

I just checked on Mapquest for diesel in Parker and Q. In Parker it was up around 2.40. In Q it is from about 2.19 to around 2.40. But I noticed they did not list every station. Hopefully someone actually onsite will post some eyeball quotes. See you soon.

Today the lowest prices I saw were:

$2.17 @ Love's
$2.19 @ Chevron

If you can get $2.15 in Las Vegas, go for it!

Thanks Carl. With crude down to 35 a barrell, I think we'll gamble on it going down some more in a week and a half. we have plenty to get to Q and back. Thanks for the report. See you latter today.

If you see a good price for fuel at a Super Fuels station you need to be aware that is is LSD. You can't use it in 07 and newer trucks.

When traveling through the Vegas/Henderson area I would have to really need to fill up to drive around in that mess. To me it just isn't worth the small amount you would save. Just my opinion.

Our rig seems to run just fine on LSD or ULSD. I have been thinking of adding a gallon of biodiesel to each tank when I fill them because it adds extra lubriicity to the fuel.

When your tanks hold 225 gallons of fuel, 20 to 30 cents a gallon (between Vegas and home)is a significant difference that makes research on the Internet and a little planning on a side trip worthwhile.
Just before we left for Vegas, our favorite station there was below $2.00 a gallon. By the time we got there it was $2.15, so Q was a better choice for a parrtial fill. If prices haven't fallen by the time we head back, then we'll top them off here.
